IDS Alumni have access to the University of Sussex Library which includes the BLDS collection, and free remote access to JSTOR e-journals subscribed to by the University.

Details of how to gain access to JSTOR are on the University website.

Alumni can also join the University of Sussex Library to gain borrowing rights at a discounted rate.

The library hosts a useful Development Studies Guide which supports the BLDS Catalogue Search.

All library-related queries should be referred to library@sussex.ac.uk.

Accessibility to BLDS is  being improved thanks to Wellcome Trust Funding (announced March 2019).
