|IDS Alumni Mentors Group|
The IDS alumni network set up Virtual Connections to help connect students to alumni for meaningful conversations during the pandemic and due to its success, we have decided to keep it going for a third year running.
Having the opportunity to network with likeminded people is a great opportunity for IDS’ current cohort of students to expand both their knowledge and networks, and networking with IDS alumni is a great way for students to get answers to their more specific questions about life after IDS.
We'd like to offer current IDS students the chance to be connected to a former IDS students (alumni) for a one-off 30 minute virtual coffee meeting to allow current students to speak to alumni about their experiences of life after IDS. There will be no formal structure, no mentoring expectations, just the opportunity for two like-minded people to connect. The alumni office will try and match on course and/or interest, but this may not be possible in all cases.
Connection emails will be sent around 10 June 2022 and you can read last year’s Virtual Connection Guide to help you to make the most of these conversations, including helpful tips on starting conversations.
If you'd like to be part of this please sign-up using the relevent form:
You'll then receive your connection(s), via email, after 15 June 2022.
If you have any questions, comments or suggestions, please email the alumni office.
If you're looking a mentoring, please check out the careers & mentoring page
