Welcome to Japan

The Japan alumni network organises occasional meetings upon members’ various interests. The network also works for supporting the activity of IDS such as welcoming IDS directors and fellows to Japan and hosting relevant events.

One highlighted example should be the one hosting a seminar and alumni event participated by IDS director Dr Melissa Leach in November 2015 in Tokyo. This event was held by the initiative of IDS alumni office and some of the members of Japan’s network supported organising the event.
