Welcome to Ghana

The Ghana alumni network arranges a get-together at least once a year to catch up and discuss what we can do to support IDS throughout the following year.

This usually happens in February so we can celebrate with any new alumni their recent graduation and invite prospective students to join us.

In 2016 the highlight was holding a joint IDS/UoS event in Accra to help celebrate IDS’s 50^th anniversary. The IDS alumni office provided support for us to attend and participate in a seminar on Perspectives on Global North-South university collaboration.
