Gender Equality
Practitioners Community

A community designed to bring together professionals from diverse backgrounds who are passionate about promoting and advancing gender equality.

About GEP Community

GEP's Vision

GEP’s aim is to promote a community-led space where feminist practice, pedagogy and research fluidly intersect and IDS-associated gender equality practitioners (e.g., alumni, educators, researchers, partners and invited peers) can openly share both professional and lived experiences, connect with peers, collaborate widely and in diverse ways, and exchange tested knowledge, expertise and resources for social change.

The Gender Equality Practitioners Community of Practice (GEP CoP) is an IDS Alumni Advisory Committee (AAC) initiative supported by Andrea Papan (MA13 and PhD Researcher), Ennio Rodriguez (MP03, DP81), Wezi Mvalo (Head of Fundraising and Development), Linda Waldman (Director of Teaching and Learning) and Anni Honkaniemi (Fundraising and Development Administrator).

Please remember,
this is a pilot community and is a responsive process and living network, which will evolve as the CoP progresses. We welcome ideas from all members, please email alumni@ids.ac.uk.
